Compared to common refractory bricks, insulation bricks have light weight and high porosity with micro pores evenly distributed inside. They can reduce the heat loss of furnace walls and the energy cost. They also have low heat capacity, so it can be heated and cooled quickly and allows quicker cyclical operation. They can be used between 900-1650℃.
