The Product Features of Mullite Insulation Brick

Mullite insulating brick is with mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2) as phase of high aluminum refractory material. Mullite insulating brick can be directly used for high temperature furnace lining, is now widely
used in shuttle kiln, roller kiln, glass and petrochemical furnace lining.
The product features of mullite insulation brick:
1. Low thermal conductivity, with good thermal insulation effect.
2. Mullite insulation brick has low melting, due to low thermal conductivity, mullite series of light insulation brick accumulation of very little heat, in the intermittent operation of energy-saving effect is
obvious.
3. Low impurity content, has a very low iron alkali metal and other oxide content, therefore, the refractoriness is high, higher aluminum content still maintains good performance in the reduction
atmosphere.
4. The thermal pressure strength of mullite insulation brick is high.
5. The appearance size is accurate, speed up the masonry speed, reduce the use of refractory mud to ensure the strength and stability of the masonry, thereby extending the life of the lining.
